Time of Music festival will host several discussion sessions that delve deeper into the backgrounds of the works heard during the week and shed new light on their creators. All discussion events are free.

Didi vs. Maailma -teoksen työryhmä avaa teosta ja sen aiheita paneelikeskustelussa konsertin jälkeen. Paneelissa ovat mukana sopraano Annika Fuhrmann, kitaristi Jukka Kääriäinen, ohjaaja-kuvaaja Eetu Lipponen sekä Musiikin ajan taiteellinen johtaja Johan Tallgren. Keskusteluun vapaa pääsy.
The Creative team of Didi vs. World will open up about the work and its themes in a panel discussion after the concert. The panel will include soprano Annika Fuhrmann, guitarist Jukka Kääriäinen, director-cinematographer Eetu Lipponen, and Time of Music’s Artistic Director Johan Tallgren.
Lecture: Composing Situations – Thanasis Deligiannis

Artist and composer Thanasis Deligiannis will give an open lecture on ”Composing Situations – A Transdisciplinary Artistic Practice”.
Starting from a background in composition Thanasis Deligiannis shares a practice that moves between sound, performance, installation, artistic research, and spatial thinking. Through recent works presented at the Venice Biennale and the Muziekgebouw in Amsterdam, he explores how compositional thinking can extend across disciplines to shape environments, relationships, and experiences. Combining video excerpts and reflections on process, Deligiannis will offer an insight into his creative process, informed by long-term research, evolving collaborations, the design of working conditions, and attentive observation. Discussion about Claire Chase’s Density 2036 project and Annea Lockwood’s music
