The Finnish Saxtronauts ensemble, sends the audience on a space trip and opens a time capsule from 1945, after which the world was reorganized in many ways. That’s when The Society of Finnish Composers was also founded, and the evening’s program is mainly compiled from the works of the members. The concert is also part of the Society’s 80th anniversary and the concert features two premieres (from Osmo Tapio Räihälä and Olli Moilanen) and e.g. music inspired by freezing winter, cosmic dust and the importance of close people.
