Artist and composer Thanasis Deligiannis will give an open lecture on ”Composing Situations – A Transdisciplinary Artistic Practice”.
Starting from a background in composition Thanasis Deligiannis shares a practice that moves between sound, performance, installation, artistic research, and spatial thinking. Through recent works presented at the Venice Biennale and the Muziekgebouw in Amsterdam, he explores how compositional thinking can extend across disciplines to shape environments, relationships, and experiences. Combining video excerpts and reflections on process, Deligiannis will offer an insight into his creative process, informed by long-term research, evolving collaborations, the design of working conditions, and attentive observation. The lecture is in English.
