The Norwegian Øyvind Torvund’s work Plans for Future Operas explores impossible opera plans that break the laws of physics and acoustics. In the concert, the piano and soprano are supported by pre-recorded material and the megalomaniacal plans are illustrated on the big screen. In the end, there are as many final results as there are people in the audience, as the work always creates its own new form with everyone’s imagination.
