Claudia Molitor’s Listen to my World is born out of an interest in listening to stories less often told, and the belief that these stories matter. The work reflects on what it is that makes us feel included or excluded from a place or space, and proposes that listening to each other’s experiences of these spaces and places could afford us a way to be more empathetic and generous toward each other. Listen to my World exists as a website, an audio-visual installation, and a book publication.
This project is part of the Sounds Now project, co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union, and co-commissioned by Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, Wilde Westen, SPOR festival, Time of Music, Transit, and Onassis Stegi.
